OUR STORY

Tyneside Swim Club was founded in 2023 by Rory Pardoe and Lyndsay Hall, two former competitive swimmers and passionate coaches. Drawing on their personal experience in the sport and years of coaching, they wanted to create a club of high coaching quality, passion and athlete-centered development.​

After working in 1:1 and small group settings, Rory and Lyndsay recognized the power of close athlete-coach relationships and individualized feedback. They set out to create a swim academy that not only focused on technical progression and long-term development but, also fostered a supportive and inspiring environment where athletes felt safe to be challenged, to succeed, and just as importantly, to fail and learn.

Tyneside Swim Club was built on the belief that high standards and enjoyment can co-exist. With a fresh, enthusiastic
approach, the club aims to bring new energy and integrity to swimming in Dubai, raising the bar for performance, coaching and athlete care across all levels.

Tyneside Swim Club operates across some of Dubai’s most prestigious aquatic facilities, providing world-class training
environments for every level of swimmer. Our locations are selected for their safety, accessibility, and performance
-driven infrastructure — ensuring that every session delivers comfort, focus, and results.

You can find us at Dubai Police Academy, a central location in the heart of Dubai where Trojan Sports hosts us in an incredible venue. An olympic sized pool and racing blocks, this is the perfect location for swimmers to train. ​ Also a cooled seating area for you to relax and enjoy watching your children progress! And for those that need to work on your laptop, there are desks provided for you to comfortably work away!

DUBAI POLICE ACADEMY

Located within Arabian Ranches the aquatic facilities at JESS Ranches include a 8-lane 25m pool which is fully shaded and temperature-controlled.

JESS ARABIAN RANCHES

Located in the heart of Jumeirah, the swimming facilities at JESS Jumeirah are among the best-equipped in Dubai. With a 6-lane 25m pool that is fully-shaded & temperature-controlled, the facility is great for our young swimmers.
